Originally from Michigan, I've spent the last two decades converting to a Burqueno.
After graduating from the Interlochen Arts Academy, I spent a year at the University of Michigan before moving to Albuquerque. I finished my BA in Studio Art at the University of New Mexico in 2008 with a focus in printmaking and photography.
My inspiration comes mainly from my childhood. As a child of the late 80's and early 90's I got to live through the birth of MTV, Nickelodeon, and the heyday of Pee Wee's Playhouse. I also grew up in the backwoods, surrounded by forest and farms.
I spent several years working for a non profit animal shelter, and after becoming pregnant with my first child I decided to start my own business so that I could stay home with my kids.
A lot of my work channels my whimsical, inner-kid, who doodles random stuff when they're supposed to be paying attention. I constantly explore new mediums and new ways of working. My newest passion project are resin "Vomit Clocks".
